My site is devoted to the berry plants of Alaska. Info pages for each species I usually gather include various Alaskan language or colloquial names of the plant/berry, and my photos of the plant. My sources are all listed at the bottom of this homepage. Please comment with any other local names you know! Navigate to a page by berry appearance (top menu) or plant family (below.) Info pages for species I’m yet unfamiliar with are incomplete. My blog is a record of my berry gathering dates since 2011, mostly in Southcentral and Interior Alaska.
