Kincaid Park, Anchorage: Lots of ripe raspberries. Ripe rose hips. Some ripe red currants. Lots of elderberries everywhere.

Farm Loop, Palmer: Wild roses have full blooms, some still buds. Lots of bluebells this year. Noticed lots of rose and bluebell in Anchorage too.

Donnelly Dome, Delta Junction: Gathered eskimo potato, coltsfoot, labrador tea, rose petals, fireweed, arnica. Wind like a hot blow dryer.

Ester Dome, Ester: Wild rose blooms are huge. Tons of bluebells. Many flowers in full bloom. Bad mosquitos. Highbush cranberry has green baby berries.

Fairbanks: Growth of all plants and pollen is booming after late greenup. Really good spruce tips. Highbush cranberry plants have the start of small white flowers.

Ester Dome, Ester: Highbush cranberry plants’ leaves have all gone red. The berries are very ripe. There are also ripe rosehips everywhere.
