Heard it was the coldest July on record for Southcentral. Heard blueberries are good in Fairbanks but not the Valley.

Marsh land, Big Lake: Many ripe timberberries by the lake. Some bog blueberries, very ripe. A few cloudberries. Picked an okay amount of blue and a little bit of cloud. Saw half ripe highbush cranberry.

Hatcher Pass, Fishhook: Lowbush cranberries at Summit Lake are 1/2 to 2/3 ripe. Down by Little Susitna River picked an okay amount of red currants. Picked a good amount of watermelon berries. Highbush cranberries are half green half red.
